How we measure

Ping
Every few seconds our servers ping the networks named in the columns and time the round trip. We show the latest figure and, for the last hour, the median, the 95th percentile and the share of pings that got no reply. Your own connection adds its own time on top.

Uplink
The capacity of a location's data-centre connection, added up over its servers. Everyone using those servers shares it, so it describes the location — it is not a speed your connection will reach.

Status
Online means a server is connected to our network control right now. A location is partly online when only some of its servers are, and offline when none are.

Which plans reach which locations?
Each location lists the plans that reach it. The list comes from our live plan settings, so when a plan changes, this page changes with it.
Can I choose which location I connect to?
Yes. The locations your plan reaches are listed in your app and in your panel, and you pick one when you connect. You can switch at any time.
What is the data centre name?
It is the facility the server is hosted in, as our network team records it. Where none is shown, we have not published one for that location yet.
What do the ping figures mean?
They are round-trip times from a location's servers to the networks named above each column, measured by the servers themselves and refreshed every minute. They show how well that location is connected to those networks; they are not a measurement of your own connection.
